Welcome to the Prison Ministry of Cornerstone Worship Center. Here you will see and hear of people who have felt and have answered the call to fulfill the command to “…preach deliverance to the captives…”, and “…visit the imprisoned…”. (Matt.25:34-40; Luke 4:18,19)
Cornerstone Worship Center fully believed in the ability for the power of God to transform the lives of men and women. This includes the imprisoned of our communities. By reaching out in the love of God and compassion our volunteers have seen many come to the truth of the Gospel.
Our world is hungry for something that will be real, and last, and satisfy the emptiness of their souls. Jesus is just what they need. “…if ANY man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” Jn. 7:37 |

We have seen the results of the efforts, of the volunteers of Cornerstone and other churches in our state, in the transformed lives of men and women. In just one of our prisons, in the 2006 year, we baptized over 100 men in the wonderful saving name of Jesus!! We also have seen over 30 receive the infilling of the Holy Ghost, speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance!! We are seeing the manifest power of God being revealed in our midst as truth is being preached! “And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” (Jn. 8:32)
This year in that same prison 20 were baptized in the month of January, and in the month of February we have had 7 receive the gift of the Holy Ghost! In another prison, on February the 4th we had 3 receive the gift of the Holy Ghost!
To God be all of the glory for the things He has done! We have also seen miracles of healing, broken marriages restored, and so much more.
