Please continue to pray for the Spiritual growth of our Church and its endeavor to reach our city |

Our story began with a man with a burden for a city. In July of 1977, God spoke to Eugene Wilde's at Family Camp about a need for a UPC Church in Fond du Lac. He was prepared to donate a large sum of money for someone to start a work there, However, the more he prayed about it, the more he realized that God was calling him there.
In August of 1977 the Wilde's family moved from Milwaukee to N. Fond du Lac and began holding meetings in the basement of their home. The first family to join New Life Apostolic Church was Ron and Linda Klingbyll. Within two years the weekly attendance grew to 30 - 40 people and the basement could no longer contain them. |
In the summer of 1979, the church moved into a building on the corner of 3rd and Marr Streets. During this time, Patrick and Mary Alvarez also moved to Fond du Lac from Oak Creek to become the Assistant Pastor. Fortunately, since many bats inhabited the Marr Street building, God allowed them to purchase a church on November 9th on the corner of 9th and Lloyd Streets.
As the church grew many families felt a need to be able to put their children in a Christian school. After much prayer, fasting, work, and sacrifice, New Life Christian Academy opened in September of 1981, Just four short years after the church began. (The school remained open for nine years and closed in 1990.)

In January of 1982, Rev. Michael L. Meadows, an evangelist who had preached many revivals in Fond du Lac, came and became the 2nd Pastor of New Life Apostolic Church. Together with his wife, Sis. Cindy Meadows, and daughter, Ember, they labored faithfully in the field teaching bible studies and instructing the young church.
Jesus instructed his disciples to be fishers of men and He blessed the fishing skills of the congregation. Soon people were packed into the church like sardines. Sunday School classes were held everywhere. When the rooms and the kitchen were filled with kids, classes were bused to Pastor Meadow's basement, Mike and Pam Last's garage, and to the St. John and Klingbyll homes. Prayer and fasting began in earnest for a new building. |
In September of 1988, New Life purchased the church building on National Avenue and renamed it Cornerstone Worship Center. In the decade that followed, attendance grew to over 200, a bus was purchased, the church was completely remodeled, and Rev. Bruce Meadows and his wife Mary Meadows moved here to become the Assistant Pastor.

In December 2001, Pastor Mike Meadows and his wife Cindy Meadows announced that God was calling them to pastor a church in West Virginia. To continue the work in Fond du Lac, God chose Rev. Scott Huse and his wife, Brenda Huse, Together with their children, Travis and Corina, they are leading the people of Cornerstone to a greater future and to greater revival! This included plans and drawings for a new church building and the purchase of property outside of Fond Du Lac in the town of Lamartine.

Pastor Huse's vision also included a church in Waupun, In 2002, a group of 20-30 people began meeting at the gym and lecture rooms of the Waupun Public School as a daughter work called Cornerstone Worship Center of Waupun.

However, in the fall of 2006, Pastor & Sis. Huse began feeling the call of God upon their lives to fulfill a personal dream to pastor a home mission's church in New Hampshire. They announced in May of 2007 that they would be resigning the church and that another couple, Bro. & Sis. Pace of Dodgeville, WI. had met with them about God leading them to Fond Du Lac.
Rev. Dale H. Pace became the pastor in July, 2007. With renewed excitement the church began to experience growth again. Shortly after, news came of a small church in Waupun that was up for sale. An offer to purchase was accepted and soon after the church of Waupun took possession of their own facilities in Waupun.
The church continues to prepare for the day when the ground will be broken and our new church is built. In the meantime, under Pastor Pace's direction, we will continue to reach out to individuals and families that need to hear about the love of God.
