Our Vision is to empower women to become women after God's own heart. We share practical insights about following God in every area of life. This includes, but is not limited to: nurturing an impassioned relationship with God, loving your family, enjoying your children, caring for your home, experiencing personal growth and giving to others. Come join us in serving the Lord and each other with our God-given talents.
We also coordinate bridal and baby showers for church members, and are involved in planning fellowship activities.
Prayer Feast Focus:
Pray... both the proverbs woman and Jabez prayer for our ladies. Proverbs 31:10-31, I Chronicles 4:10
Pray... that we as ladies would become women after God's own heart.
Pray... that we would become more like the woman in Proverbs -- so as not to become too busy doing "things", but that we would be seeking and doing God's will for our lives so that His will may be performed in those our lives touch everyday.
Pray... that God would enlarge our territories.
Pray... for the women who feel alone or insecure.
Pray... that we may positively influence the people we come in contact with.
Pray... that God would direct our steps; giving us words and wisdom to soul win with a holy boldness to proclaim Christ!!!
Pray... that the Lord would lead us ladies in His righteousness.
Challenge from Sis. Aberg: At our 2006 Ladies breakfast the challenge was given to us by our wonderful Ladies Director, provoking us to get out of our comfort zone. To reach out and touch the lives of those in our church pews that are hurting as well as new converts who come in our doors. To not be close-minded and look for ways and opportunities that knock on our door to help, encourage, and be a friend to others.
I Peter 3:8-12 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye agree thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Going on to say... As christians if we all do our share, it makes the load lighter on all of us. We do not need a degree to help others. She encouraged us to not become so busy that we don't have time to save one soul. Her challenge to us ladies was to reach out to one new person to add to our own circle of friends whether they were new to church or not.
I Peter 4:8-11 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever: Amen.
